Amanda Kang (she/her) is a dynamic Los Angeles-based performer and writer with a passion for storytelling across stage and screen.

Regionally, Amanda has performed across California, notably in Into the Woods at Moonlight Stage and The Chinese Lady at Chance Theater, and The Addams Family at Berkeley Playhouse

 

On-screen, Amanda has appeared in short films, and independent pilots, and national commercials including Ladke (VC Film Fest, UK Asian Film Fest, San Diego Film Fest), Call Earl (Overlook Film Fest, Grimmfest,), and Looking for Lilah (Recurring Guest, 3 episodes).

As a writer, Amanda's journalism work has been published in magazines such as Zhive Media and Catalyzer Media. Her creative writing has won awards such as a gold key at the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and the American Association of University Women's Creative Scholarship. Her editorial experience spans Film/TV Development and traditional literary publishing.

 

Most recently, Amanda has been broadening her skillset through TV Writing Classes at UCLA Extension. She also provides edits, beta reading, and creative writing services as a freelancer (Amanda Kang Freelance Editorial)

Amanda is represented by Daniel Hoff Agency theatrically and commercially.
